I accepted a big opportunity offered by my job to assist in the ultimate success of a new federal office in McLean, VA, a couple of miles outside of Washington DC. As a result of this, I’ve made my first major commitment to any job thus far in my life by relocating from Brooklyn to the DC area. This was the original reason for my being out here, but now that I’m no longer with the company that got me here in the first place, I’ve decided to continue my adventures here in our nation’s capital.
I don’t know which should be more impactful: moving to a city I’ve never been to before, leaving behind all my friends and family, or having to deal with a subway system that isn’t the MTA subway for a long period of time… but in order to alleviate this I’ve created this blog to keep my friends up-to-date on my life, whether it’s a boring entry or something awesome.
Don’t expect daily updates, but do expect both sudden bursts of multiple entries in a day or an entry (or two) every two weeks from time to time – I cannot promise to be consistent. =)
